About the role the sales development representative (sdr) is a critical part of the marketing team and will make a big impact on the top of funnel activity for our sales teamsReporting to the senior manager of sales enablement, you will help to provide necessary research, improve data quality, and be the initial connection point for many of our marketing lead generation initiatives.
What you’ll do
Focus primarily on top of funnel activities, including, but not limited to:
Manage both inbound and outbound campaigns and automated activities with a high level of success
Deeply understand, buy-into, and communicate side’s value propositions and benefits
Call, text, email, and engage hot leads on social media to perform initial qualification and set first meetings for our sales reps
Overcome initial objections to set a high number of first meetings
Innovate new ways to engage cold prospects
Collaborate with cross functional partners to increase conversion rates
Conduct primary research on new lead opportunities and fill in the missing data points to improve data quality
Build out spreadsheets and reports for easy visibility into your research, data mining, and sales activities
Input all sales activity and notes into the crm to build a seamless handoff to sales.
Report your findings, commonalities and recommendations on a weekly basis
Mentor and train others as we scale this function

Experience using standard sales tools such as web-based meeting tools (zoom, etc.), sales crm / engagement tools (salesforce, outreach, groove, gong, etc.), to complete and report out on sales activities
Bachelor`s degree required
Sales experience and startup experience a plus
