We are currently searching for a restoration tech (restoration technician) to be responsible for physically performing fire and smoke repair, water mitigation and other disaster restoration related activities under guidance of certified techniciansThis is a labor-intensive positionThis position is progressing towards achieving required mitigation certifications.
What you`ll do:
Perform water mitigation under supervision of certified technicians.
Perform tarping, boarding up, mold remediation repair, water extraction, pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, and demolition.
Perform water/fire/smoke damage repair as directed.
Set up and monitor air movers and/or dehumidifiers.
Maintain quality control on each job.
Ensure compliance with insurance companies and company standards and guidelines.
Ensure all documentation is completed and submitted.
Report any equipment malfunction that may occur.
Report any customer problems or issues or damages found.
Prepare documentation and pictures according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies.
Interact with customers and property owners to communicate job related information.
Deliver focus and dedication to provide excellent customer service.
Assist in warehousing and facility related tasks when necessary.
Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck and maintains all company equipment.
What you`ll bring:
High school diploma or ged required
Valid drivers’ license and satisfactory driving record
Previous experience with water/fire/smoke damage, mold remediation and repair preferred
Communication and interpersonal skills
Current iicrc restoration certifications- (wrt, asd, fsrt, oct) are preferred, at minimum certifications are in progress
Strong and positive interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate with the supervisor, manager and customers
Ability to understand and follow directions
