Management analyst - configuration & logistics
If you love high profile and challenging projects supporting the us navy- serco has a great opportunity for you! we are seeking a management analyst to provide configuration & logistics programmatic support to our navsea customer in washington, d.cThis management analyst position will be on a dynamic team, supporting team submarineBring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors.
Serco supports the us navy as a prime for their team submarine contract supporting the acquisition of submarinesThe team submarine concept unifies once diverse submarine-related activities into a single submarine-centric organization with the goal of eliminating traditional stovepipe structures and processes that created impediments and inefficiencies in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communitiesTeam submarine provides improved communication among the various offices that contribute to the overall success of the united states submarine force.
In this role, you will:
Manage navsea formal change proposals in support of configuration control board (ccb).
Coordinate with various submarine in-service engineering agents (isea), operational and logistic stakeholders to understand full scope of change proposals.
Disseminate information, answer requests for information to ccb stakeholders for adjudication of change requests.
Follow through on ccb results for change implementation across program systems and logistics chain (tech manuals, supply chain documentation, e.g.).
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a current or active dod secret security clearance is required at time of application.
Have a bachelor`s level degree in a business or technical field and 5 to 7 years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, or a relevant field is required.
Be a self-starter with significant focus on attention to detail, comfortable with technical details.
Be required to have experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer.
Additional desired experience and skills:
Sharepoint experience a plus
Seven (7) or more years of experience with navy acquisition and submarine programs is desired.
Active-duty experience in the submarine service is preferred.
Recent experience in team submarine would be ideal.
