Develops automation procedures for the solution of a variety of actuarial related business problems, or for segments of complex and difficult problems or systemsPlans and implements the computations or processes necessary for computer solutionsMust be able to identify data anomalies and do sufficient research to find underlying causes.
Develop the analysis and design of actuarial applications and/or programs
Write and document program code
Meets with business unit representatives to define and evaluate business automation needs
Assist colleagues with debugging whenever necessary
Requirements and qualifications:
To maintain effectiveness by improving skills and acquiring new skills over time.
To anticipate and respond to customer expectations and needs.
College degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field is preferred, or completion of computer technical school.
5+ years related work experience.
5+ years of property/casualty insurance experience.
