SeKON is looking for a Proposal Writer with government contracting experience to join our Business Development team. SeKON is headquartered in Reston, VA, but we are open to remote candidates for this opportunity. With over 20 years of experience, SeKON specializes in providing large-scale health IT programs in support of federal government customers including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Defense Health Agency (DHA), and National Institutes of Health (NIH). The ideal candidate would have an excellent understanding and working knowledge of information management, information technology, products, systems, and industry, in the federal sector. The candidate should be a self-starter, under the lifecycle of business development, and work collaboratively with our subject matter experts (SMEs) across our programs and projects to document best practices, solutions, technically review and enhance existing artifacts, white papers, proposals. The candidate will collaborate across our programs and projects including operations in order to support the BD and Growth teams in the composition and submittal of business development artifacts to include proposals. The Technical Writer will report to the Director of BD Operations, yet in a matrixed architecture work across the organization within the capacity of the position.
