Position summary Segmint is seeking a cloud support associate that enjoys solving problems, working with customers, and has technical backgrounds from a variety of different fields including linux/mac/windows systems administration, database design and optimization, big data analysis, network administration, and dev ops.
As a member of the segmint it operations team, you will be working with transformational cloud technology assisting the business by taking advantage of a growing set of cloud services to run their mission-critical applicationsYou will be surrounded by people that are smart, passionate about cloud computing, and believe that world class support is critical to customer success.
This position reports to our cuyahoga falls, ohio office but does allow for a remote working optionOur employees are currently working remote until we feel it is appropriate to offer the option to return to the officeThis position can remain remote indefinitely.
Assist the team providing 24/7 support of internal and customer facing systems Performing quality technical support providing prompt and accurate feedback to customers Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to our customers' individual needs Capacity to document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles requirements Drive customer communication during critical events
Linux and macintosh operating system support Understanding of cloud computing - (aws, azure) Strong problem-solving and excellent client-facing skills Common business applications support, including microsoft office and gmail support Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of database support - (postgres) Knowledge of systems monitoring and service level management Programming / scripting experience (bash, java, perl, ruby, c#, and/or php)
3 years - linux and macintosh operating system support 2 years - cloud computing experience
