The recruiter is responsible for meeting the recruitment needs of schumacher homesWorking with the director of human resources, this position partners with hiring managers to determine specific recruitment goals.
Identifies, develops, and implements strategies for recruiting targeted positions. Maintains constant source of information relating to new contacts and takes appropriate and timely measures to recruit appropriate staff – focusing on a 42-day recruiting cycle. Maintains activity log identifying current and planned recruitment efforts. Maintains active/inactive job postings. Sets realistic timetables for closing recruitment negotiations. Investigates all leads for potential candidates. Conducts initial pre-screening interviewsEnter accurate notes into the system within 48 hours. Determine and communicate suitability of candidate for referral to hiring manager. Utilize the recruiting system to notify candidates when they are not selected after new hire is in place. Maintains an open line of communication with all hiring managers and seeks input on all aspects of recruiting. Conducts marketing research, as needed. Prepare monthly reports with recruiting statistics. Participate in all meetings and company activities as needed and/or required. Other duties as assigned
Minimum of five year's previous recruiting experienceConstruction and sales recruiting experience preferred, but not required. Exceptional follow up skills. Experienced using technology (ats, zoom, teams). Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing; negotiation skills; flexibility in varying situations; ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision; ability to organize and prioritize duties; ability to work well with other staff; willingness to travel as required.
