Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Contact potential clients and respond to request for proposals (rfps) as well as service line specific questions
Present the company to potential clients as a solution for their audit and compliance needs
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
Proactively seek new business opportunities that align with the firm’s overall growth strategy
Conduct market research areas of growth and work with leadership to identify key targets
Facilitate needs assessments between prospective clients and subject matter experts (smes) and managers
Collaborate with marketing team to ensure client and prospective client needs are addressed through various abm and content marketing campaigns
Report on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) results
Remain up-to-date with new products/services and industry segments
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Strong communication and customer services skills which build rapport and trust with potential clients
High level of proficiency in discussing industry and service line specialties
Fully understands the organization’s capabilities
Knowledgeable of smes in specific service lines and able to call on them to engage with clients or answer client questions.
Excellent time management, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work on-site or remotely as a valuable contributor to a collaborative team
Advanced written, verbal, and presentation skills.
High proficiency in all microsoft office products
Education, work experience and certifications
Bachelor`s degree in accounting, finance, business management, technology or other relevant subject area, or equivalent years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
3-5 years of business development experience
