The specialty business is focused on specialty generics and branded specialty products across the key therapeutic areas of endocrinology, ms, and respiratory.
This individual is responsible for the life cycle management of in-line products to evolve market access strategy and pricing & contracting for products entering maturity
This individual will use their market experience to provide commercial assessment for new product opportunities, primarily specialty generics and retail branded/biosimilar products
This individual is also responsible for the analytical considerations required to develop the market access strategy, including developing and executing profitable business development and contracting approaches
Core member of brand management teamsResponsible for leading cross-functional collaboration in the design of in-line products and near-term launches and working with global colleagues for mid-long term launches.
Create value proposition (including messaging, pricing, contracting) and segmentation for payers/specialty pharmacy stakeholders to improve reimbursement and formulary access
Integrate personal knowledge of access dynamics, data, market insights, and field/account feedback to deliver on overarching brand plan via access levers, including payers, channel, gpos
Able to successfully pivot with rapidly evolving market dynamics, between products, and between stakeholders without losing sight of strategic pillars
Enhance and contribute to organizational understanding of market dynamics, risks and competitor behaviors and impact of business segment (whs, gpo, clinics, hospitals, payers) decisions and actions influence the commercialization of biopharma products, accountable for the design, development, and approval of financial model for all business segments and define critical contracting terms, and operational processes to support contracted sales
This will be a home office (princeton) based position which reports to the director, market access strategy and new product planning

5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience is required
7+ years of experience in launch, marketing, sales, finance, or access is preferred
Market knowledge and subject matter expertise across multiple channels including pbm/payer, provider, specialty pharmacy, distribution, gpos, etc.
Understanding of benefit design and specialty pharmacy economics associated with medical and pharmacy benefit for medicare, commercial and medicaid reimbursement for injectable and oral pharmaceuticals.
Demonstrated understanding of all managed markets customer business segments and suitable contracting arrangements, especially with payers/pbms and specialty pharmacy
