Salesforce’s coaching, mentoring and teaming centers of excellence accelerates individual and team change to drive business success and personal growth - at scale The coaching program manager is a highly collaborative role, responsible for the successful design and program management of our coaching portfolio for leaders at every levelThe successful candidate draws on proven program management and coaching experience, as well as strong business acumen, to lead the development of innovative coaching and learning experiences (face-to-face, and live-online) that produce measurable impact and support the talent pipeline of a fast-paced, high-growth company.
Internal coaching service - own the end-to-end delivery and operational evolution of the internal coach service (currently 2 cycles per year)
Impact & insights - support assessment and impact tracking, including development and delivery of a regular (e.gQuarterly) dashboard of coaching activity, impact and insights (internal, external, programs/journeys, open enrollment)
Technology - work with internal and external partners (operations, technology and suppliers) to ensure technology delivers on current requirements, provides regular improvement, and supports/enables scales
Enablement - design and facilitate internal coach training and development sessions, interactive meetings, and a variety of solutions via multiple modalities and to diverse audiences, developing coaching skills and expertise, and maximising impact, alignment and growth.
Presence & profile - build organisational presence, profile and awareness of coaching & mentoring coes, services and resources
Budget - develop and manage budget for coaching programs and services in line with agreed parameters and processes
Stakeholder alignment & management - support and partner with a wide range of stakeholders to the coaching coe, including different locations and teams, and at different levels including senior stakeholders to ensure effective program management of leadership coaching engagements and coach trainingMost notably working within the coe and people leadership development (pld) team to maintain and grow alignment within pld and across other development teams at salesforce.
Resource management - develops and maintains learning assets, curriculum, and a variety of coaching best practices that align with organizational goals and values.
Partner management - partners with external coaching vendors and manages budget and vendor agreements when necessary (working closely with the scaling/ops team via centralized processes).
Community management - communicates with our coach, coachee and people leader communities to ensure on-going participation, support, and awareness, expanding the reach and engagement of our coaching portfolio.
Continuous improvement - drives continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and scalability of coaching development initiatives.
Other duties / change agility - all team members put the team first and may be required to support other tasks and activities in service of our team and organisation goalsChange is a constant and the ability to maintain effectiveness and work with change should be considered an inherent requirement of this, and all, roles at salesforce.
Education & qualifications
Bachelor`s degree in business administration, leadership/organization development (od), or equivalent experience
Applicable facilitation and coaching certification(s) strongly desired
Experience & skills
4-8 years of progressive leadership development/od/oe/hr/coaching experience within large organizations
Instructional design experience building and delivering high-visibility, global programs
Strong coach capable of growing, developing and mentoring coaches and leaders at every level.
Strong facilitator capable of consistently and effectively engaging a wide variety of audiences
Knowledge of leadership and organization development, instructional design strategies, and learning assessment - and a curiosity for demonstrating leading-edge practices
Proactive problem-solver flexible to adapt quickly to changing business needs and managing through ambiguity
Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to translate business strategies into critical talent development initiatives
Strong program/project management skills with ability to collaborate with and lead others through influence
Excellent written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
