Works with senior developers on the team to build tools to eliminate repetitive tasks.
Participates in self-organizing teams working to a common goal.
Responds to issues as they arise and partner with swbc systems assurance group to respond to application development changes or requests.
Troubleshooting complex issues found in custom code to determine root-cause and identifying a solution.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, computer science or related field or completion of a professional coding school program.
Able to write code and develop solutions in a few programming languages (c#, asp .net, javascript/jquery, c#, tsql, html/css, etc.)
Exposure to external data storage systems such as files shares, databases, flat files, etc.
Ability to write and assess performance of basic sql queries.
Basic understanding of basic web development practices (html, css, javascript, jquery, etc.).
Basic understanding of team development tools and source control (visual studio, tfs, cvs, jira, git, etc.).
Basic understanding of working toward improving working knowledge of oop.
Basic understanding of sdlc and separation of duties.
Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficient in microsoft word, excel, or equivalent applications.
Able to lift 10-20 lbsOf reports, paper and/or files.
Able to sit for long periods of time while performing duties.
