Help secure our valuable water resources by building, creating, and modifying application software or specialized programs to aid district staff in support of our missionYou will have the opportunity to analyze customer needs and develop application solutions to meet those needsThe business application developer will design or customize application solutions that optimize operational efficiency and will analyze and design databases that hold data for the developed applications.

Compensation:
Business application developer 1: $46,134.40 - $56,981.60
Business application developer 2: $46,737.60 - $61,536.80
Business application developer 3: $54,496.00 - $71,749.60
Business application developer 4: $62,316.80 - $83,100.00
The starting salary ranges are included for the business application developer profile which reflects the minimum to approximately 50% of the respective pay gradesThe starting salary will be based on the education and experience of the successful candidateThe district conducts annual performance evaluations that may award applicable pay increases based on positive employee
Essential functions
Work within an agile framework to develop and implement appian and .net web‐based applications.
Create various document artifacts including design/technical approach documents, sequence diagrams, installation instructions, uml diagrams, etc.
Build critical appian based applications as well as associated integration components in c#/c++.
Provide technical guidance to mid‐level developers as and when required.
Participate in customer and team meetings to support various program tasks including design review, status updates, technical roadmap, production troubleshooting and remediation.
Work within the itb devops release process to ensure completion of key tasks including deployment, code baseline and merge, version control, automated testing.
Work throughout the entire software development and project life cycle (requirements discovery, technical design/innovation, development, deployment, and maintenance)
Develop bpm specifications to integrate with legacy applications leveraging web services, messaging and enterprise service bus
Perform work individually, as a part of the application systems development team and as part of an agile project team.
Contribute toward developing solution guidelines, standards, and best practices

This position is typically scheduled to work 40 hours per week, monday to friday, out of the brooksville, fl office, however remote work is availableThis position is eligible for compensatory time for hours worked over 40 hours, in a week.
