The regional account manager, is responsible for partnering with, and offering insight to, both the new and established customers the client supports by helping them grow their digital intelligence capabilitiesYou will become a resource to the state and local government customer base of your region; working with them to implement strategies by leveraging our industry leading technology and servicesThis is an independent contributor role*
Requirements
The superpowers we are looking for:
Ba preferred or equivalent work experience
2 or more years of experience in a new business sales role
Salesforce experience
Experience working in a team environment that requires email and phone outreach and analyzed performance by measured results
Comfortable initiating new conversations and building relationships, while being resourceful and metrics driven.
Experienced in relationship building and selling into a new and existing client base
Motivated self-starter and eager to learn.
Accountable: this role involves owning a process that is crucial to the business and helping to grow our business.
This is an independent contributor role* no direct reports to this role
Responsibilities & scope of role:
Proactively sell into our existing install base and new clients focusing on increasing our market share in the digital intelligence industry
Handle customer inquiries and maintain a clean queue of inbound leads
Solution selling to increase average order value
Work closely with sales development representatives and account management to exceed goals
Meet or exceed sales objectivesBuild and maintain a pipeline of business opportunities.
Maintain detailed knowledge of products, training offerings, competitive products, customer vertical industry, and have in-depth understanding of customer goals
Submit accurate and detailed weekly sales forecasts to sales management.
Daily use and update of salesforce.com
Recommend new products and product modifications to assure customer satisfaction.
