Scs engineers is seeking exceptional environmental project managers that want to grow in a fast-paced, team-first environmentOur project managers are expected to lead project teams, develop strategic approaches to deliver business value, engage with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders, and manage schedules and budgetsWe are open to candidates working hybrid or remotely to support our south florida environmental services team.
How you can make an impact as an environmental project manager
Managing projects, including, but not limited to, developing proposals, contracting, leading project teams, forecasting, invoicing, and accounts receivable management.
Delivering professional services on time and without error in accordance with local and state regulations and within the planned level of project profitability.
Managing and executing environmental site assessments, groundwater monitoring programs, soil and groundwater remedial actions, environmental compliance auditing and permitting, and related environmental services with senior oversight.
Making decisions independently and/or collaboratively on engineering or scientific problems and methods.
Providing technical and operational direction with responsibility for delivering positive outcomes.
Writing technical reports and related work products.
Communicating with clients, third party, and regulatory agents regarding project status, schedules, and compliance issues.
Adhering to client and corporate contract specifications in all activities including health, safety, security, and environment.
Mentoring and developing staff.
Contributing to business development activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor`s degree in engineering or science required.
Minimum of 8 years of related experience required, including hands-on field and office based activities in environmental consulting (e.g., groundwater and soil assessments) with commercial and industrial projects, including reportingExperience in south florida is preferred.
Well versed in environmental assessment/remediation and environmental regulations.
P.eOr p.gRequired.
Experience with miami-dade derm preferred.
Current osha 40 hour hazwoper training a plus.
Valid driver`s license with a driving record in good standing required.
