About the role:
This is a truly global roleAs the sales director credit solutions you will be responsible for selling the full suite of s&p global market intelligence’s credit products into all of the segment’s existing 12,000+ clients-across all client segments (capital markets, corporates, financial institutions, academia) and geographical regionsYou will partner with account managers, product management, prospecting team, and market team to execute on the sales strategy to hit and surpass your target.
Given this, this role requires a high collaboration, boldness, creativity, resiliency, charisma, a competitive spirit, and exceptional communication & presentation skills.
What you’ll do:
You will be selling additional products and solutions into our existing client portfolioThe role also involves researching prospective customers, creation of outreach strategies, identification of sales opportunities, conducting exploratory conversations with potential customers and executing on a growth strategy across the assigned territory.
The role will involve leading negotiations for new sales to meet and exceed objectives.
The role involves a strong collaboration element with many teams.
You will need to think entrepreneurial -- stay current with industry news to develop initiatives and attract prospects.
Utilize sales enablement tools (salesforce, zoominfo, linkedin, salesloft, etc.) to create professional, tailored prospecting strategies
What we’re looking for:
3-5+ years of experience in business development with a focus on solution selling
Self-starters, able to work on your own initiative.
Strong negotiation skills to close complex deals.
Willingness to approach every problem as an entrepreneur with grit, creativity, and persistence.
Curious minds, our culture promotes inquisitive behavior and people who are not afraid to challenge the status quo, solving business problems is at the heart of what we do.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related subjects, cfa, mba will be a plus.
