Postion summary: the regional broker/consultant sales director’s primary responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, presenting and collaborating with specific and assigned national health & benefit consulting organizations in a defined territoryThis role will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive revenue growth by influencing and managing consulting referrals within their client baseIdeal candidates will have long-term, mature relationships with large, regional and national broker/consultant groups.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
6+ years of experience of experience working with large regional or national brokerages preferably as a carrier sales representative (or equivalent)
Experience handling a multi-stakeholder sale
Proven track record of sales success
Experience in a team-selling environment including third parties
Experience calling on all levels of national health & benefit consulting organizations
Demonstrated success with large transactions and lengthy sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market
Demonstrated ability in problem solving and negotiation

Key activities include:
Work with senior-level, client-facing health & benefit consultants to create awareness of rx savings solutions and its offerings
Create a collaborative working environment with the consulting organizations for whom we are a trusted vendor partner
Collaborate with local health & benefit consultants to create sales opportunities for rxss
Work with already-identified strategic health & benefit offices to host educational, overview and deep-dive sessions, conduct webinars and continue to educate new hires
Work with internal client success and marketing teams to develop specific collateral that demonstrates our value proposition
Work seamlessly with rxss sales executives that are calling direct to employer prospects within the consultant`s book of business; influence these opportunities and orchestrate communication between rxss and the client-facing health & benefit/pharmacy consultants
Schedule and complete a regular cadence of onsite and virtual meetings with each firm
Participate in vendor summits, conferences, etc., to support business growth
