As a key member of our team, this individual’s primary responsibility will be to usher in new business through established channels and grow our relationships with existing clients by cross-selling our continuum of servicesIn order to support these goals, you will be responsible for prospective client intake, client retention, referral management, and cross-selling opportunitiesYou will report to the partners of our firmOur offices are in midtown new york city, but this position is remote.
The ideal candidate will have experience in client intake, relationship management, business development and/or salesLaw firm experience is preferred, but experience in any professional services environment will be consideredA professional presence, outgoing personality, and strong organizational skills are a must.

Proactively manage all aspects of prospective client intake process including: inbound prospect calls and follow-up; client consultations with attorneys; and retainer management.
Help build and foster trusting relationships with prospective clients.
Manage cultivation of inbound sales (referral) inquiries to convert leads to appointments (consultations).
Enhance the firm’s reputation by representing our legal services professionally and knowledgeably.
Ability to articulate our firm’s value proposition and effective storytelling to differentiate our legal services.
Manage incoming and outgoing client referrals.
Schedule networking meetings and calls for our attorneys.
Successfully solicit google reviews from existing clients.
Manage intake communications on our crm system (hubspot).
Provide intake analysis/insight to support revenue growth.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business is preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, relationship management, marketing or public relations within a law firm or other professional services environment.
Proven track record of success in client intake and growing client relationshipsDuties include outbound calling, e-mail, and overall management of sales pipeline through the sales cycle.
Superior communications and interpersonal skills.
Ability to be effective with sophisticated attorneys, executives, doctors, and vendors.
Empathy and strong desire to help others.
Prior training or experience with active listening is a plus.
Strong attention to detail/deadlines.
Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in microsoft office suiteFamiliarity with hubspot or other crm is highly preferred.
Strong business acumen, sound judgment and forward-thinking approach.
Self-starter with a growth mindset.
Quick learner and adaptable.
Experience dealing with ill or injured individuals is preferred, but not necessary.
Ability to work fully remotelyMust have a quiet, private space to conduct work at home.
