This leader will have responsibility for a multi-million-dollar region managing and selling to some of ribbon’s most strategic customersRibbon’s solutions are at the core of our customer’s networks and are critical to effectively running their businessThis is a key position inside an inspiring company with double-digit growth objectives and a solid portfolio positioned for successWith a well-executed plan, we will establish a thought leadership agenda for ribbon and drive new business within targeted utility service providersWhat you will do:
Define and execute sales strategy for rural utility service providers located in the us central and west region while representing the value proposition across the complete ribbon portfolio and to every applicable business unit within the account.
Find new and creative ways to drive business and position ribbon for long-term success and as a strategic vendor in each account.
Work closely with the sales engineering team, management, and other ribbon resources to develop the most compelling offering
Manages the overall sales cycle for opportunities, this is: identifies an underlying opportunity, qualifies opportunity, gathers internal approvals ‘go-decision’, supports proposal synthesis process, proposal quality assurance, delivers a proposal to a customer, follow-up on proposal decision win/loss analysis.

Keep crm consistently updated and senior ribbon executives well informed of key customer developments.
What do we require from you?
5+ year’s sales experience and relationships in the utility industry focused on us central or western rural markets required
Selling technology layer 0-3 architects and beyond
Salesforce automation or crm tool experience required
Experience in power generation, turbine, transmissions, 5g network, broadband, satellite - preferred
Knowledge and selling experience into ip/packet and optical environments and solutions are highly desirable.
Ability to establish key relationships and sell at the executive level within an organization (internally and externally).
Self-motivated, results-oriented professional with the drive to succeed.
Experience in prospecting with a high percentage of new account closure rate.
Ability to work independently and manage all sales-related activities in a region.
Excellent presentation, communications, and interpersonal skills.
Consultative and solution selling techniques, excellent business acumen, and technically astute.
Ability to find creative solutions to complex issues.
Demonstrated ability to drive a sense of urgency throughout the organization and to follow through on important initiatives to completion.
Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue targets in a highly complex and competitive environment.
