Data Engineer - Senior/Lead

We're a Singapore-based startup looking for experienced data engineers to join our team. You will use various methods to transform raw data into useful data systems.

What You Will Do

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and across projects that require collaboration across functional areas

• Skillful, collaborative team player able to develop rapport and credibility with stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability and willingness to teach, engage and support others as they learn new technologies and concepts

• Enthusiasm for and the ability to quickly learn new technologies and tackle difficult problems

• Expertise and 2 year+ of development experience primarily with Microsoft Power BI and AWS data technologies

• An understanding of enterprise software development tools and methodologies

• Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

What You Will Need

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience

• Technical degrees in computer science, software engineering, or math highly desired

• Working knowledge of modern software development practices and technologies

• Ability to collaborate with technology partners during the software development cycle

• Demonstrated ability to develop presentation content translating technology into consumable content for users

Must have skills

• Experience in Utilizing tools such as Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Kibana, ELK, Jenkins and frameworks such as Spring Boot to develop and deploy microservices

• Working with Metabase, Google Data Studio, Datalake and Data Warehouse from GCP Data Services
