The people shared services (pss) specialist is a key member of the regional pss team focusing on operating efficiently to attract, hire, and, retain top talent in the united states, canada, and central- & south- american countriesThe pss specialist supports core people processes such as onboarding, employee life cycle management, and off boarding. Let’s talk about responsibilities
Act as initial point of contact for people- related inquiries (i.eEmployee changes, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, payroll, polices & procedures, etc.)Redirect and escalate as necessary through our case management system. Confident at troubleshooting; obtains enough information from employees to either resolve the inquiry or obtains adequate information to refer the issue to an expert for problem resolution. Ensure that the team delivers with consistently high standards, while driving continuous improvement initiatives and effectively managing hr and talent acquisition compliance. Provide excellent customer service and enable them to effectively manage incoming inquiries and routine questions related to all types of hr/ta policies, programs and procedures coming from employees, managers, hr and candidatesContinuously improve tier 1/2 information and drive increased self-service. Manage and escalate complaints/sensitive people related cases to hrbps/ people directors and ensure maintenance of strict standards of confidentiality and appropriate escalations. Successfully prioritize and close hr/ta tasks against a tight timeline to help influence efforts towards attracting and hiring top talent in the americas (including but not limited to interview scheduling, candidate travel and expenses, reimbursement support, and new hire onboarding) and improving the overall candidate and employee experience. Develop, oversee and contribute to projects that involve changes to the services provided which are related to process, the candidate and/or employee experience and more. Collaborate with cross- functional team members to resolve team member issues in a thorough and timely manner (people business partners, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, payroll, finance, systems, facilities, i.t., mobility, etc.) Maintain and validate team member data in people systems. Serve as people shared services support for talent acquisition pss lead (i.eInterview scheduling, candidate travel arrangements, administer employee referral program, etc.) Serve as canada document compliance support specialist (i.eEnsure all team member files are up-to-date (i.eCreation, updates, audits, & archives). Provide support to several key people processes: Create, streamline, and upkeep core pss processes to drive efficiency, continuous process improvement and best-in-class team member experience. Other duties as assigned.
Let’s talk about qualifications and experience
Minimum 3 years' of human resources experience (preferably in recruitment, onboarding, and/or compliance). Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Prior experience working with hr systems(we are on workday as our hris) Proficiency in microsoft office word. Strong familiarity with microsoft outlook, word, excel, & powerpoint is required. Ability to perform excel pivot tables and v-look ups is required. Availability to begin work at 11:00 a.m(gmt -3) monday through friday to support western-u.s(gmt-7) team members. Strong focus on customer- service including outstanding interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and follow through. Ability to work as a team member with the ability to flex with changing priorities based on business needs. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Experience with visio Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
