Full job description
Rental works is looking for an outside sales representative to join our team in our team in the baltimore/central maryland territoriesThe outside sales representative will sell products and services offered by our company to current and new customers.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in sales or a related field, strong multitasking ability, and excellent follow-up skillsHe/she will be an expert communicator with success in negotiation.
Responsibilities:
Territory management - required to know his/her territory and the construction landscape in itThey will be asked to retain current customers in the territory while developing, through leads and cold calling, new customers in the terrirory.
Client support and networking – acquire and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leadsCommunicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their needsAlign value propositions with customer pain points to sell product/serviceDemonstrate the functions and uses of the products or services to customersEnsure client satisfaction through open discussionRespond to and fix issues that arise throughout the sales cycleStay in constant contact with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
Reporting – maintain daily reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business and any other issuesProvide periodic territory sales forecasts as requested.
Requirements:
1-3 years experience in a construction related field
2 years of sales experience is preferred
Take a assessment to fit personal attributes to sales attributes
Proven organizational skills and demonstrable attention to detail
Proven ability to record sales activities in a crm (pipedrive)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to function well in fast-paced environments
Proficient with microsoft excel
