Graphic designer - sporting events

We are looking for a remote teammate who wants to grow as a designer and create killer work, one whose love and respect for the work outweigh the perks of working with the top professional sports teams in the country - mlb, nhl, nfl, nba and more.
We cover multiple disciplines, and we do lots of different projects while maintaining a creative and collaborative environmentOur goal is to bring in an individual with high integrity, a fresh perspective, and a diverse range of skills to help us concept and design amazing and beautiful work on a daily basisWhether it’s social graphics, out-of-home ads, event design, or corporate identity pieces, we want someone who is comfortable hopping in and owning a project from concept to completion.
Work directly with the creative director on brainstorming, developing, and executing design work for the organizationThese include but are not limited to event design, marketing campaigns, sales materials, logos, signage, advertisements, brochures, flyers, social media graphics, etc.
Effectively communicate and coordinate with the entire team to ensure that all designs communicate the desired message and functions successfully for the multitude of projects you will receive.
Take guided ownership of the creative process for each project you are assigned
Design and implement event signage and branding
Provide creative input, ideas, and concepts to support the overall marketing, brand development, and business objectives of the organization.
Prepare production-friendly files for multiple vendors based on a variety of end uses.
Proof all content and ensure designs are up to spec and brand standards.
Design digital assets for website, partner sites, social, email, etc.
Maintain and gradually evolve brand design guidelines as marketing advances.
Organize and maintain all our (dam) data asset system with approved digital assets
Proven graphic design experience
Expertise in current graphic design practices, including fluency in adobe indesign, illustrator, and photoshopVideo editing/motion graphics is a plus but not required.
Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational skills, and thorough attention to detail
General sports knowledge preferably in football and basketball, hockey, baseball
Passion for growing youth sports for all children regardless of race, gender, and socioeconomic status
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Adaptable to change in the work environment and manages competing demands
Perform physical activities such as setting up for outside events in variable weather conditions
Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends and nights
Preferred (not required)
Video editing experience - after effects
Experience in data asset management
Html/ css coding
Event design experience
Within 3 hours of an airport.
