The regal rexnord digital solutions team is looking for a project manager to drive industrial internet of things (iiot) and digital services product development projects from inception through to completionIn this role, the individual will lead multiple projects of a highly complex nature that encompass the entire regal rexnord powertrain product linesProjects will range from embedded wireless sensor hardware development to deployment of aftermarket service programsProject teams will be global and cross functionalThe project manager will gather requirements from stakeholders, create & manage project schedules, and oversee the work related to all functions over the duration of a projectThe ideal candidate will be self-driven, able to multi-task, and a strong problem solver with a common sense, practical approach.
This position is located at regal rexnord’s downtown milwaukee, wi siteOption for 100% remote will be considered for the right candidate but will be limited to the eastern and central time zones and may include occasional travel to regal rexnord facilities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead project from planning to completion through project life cycle
Determine and define project scope and objectives
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
Track project costs in order to meet budget
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Act as primary interface regarding deliverables, changes, and sign-off on status and requirements
Maintain visibility and facilitate timely discussions and decisions for project risks & issues
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Lead meetings between stakeholders, resources, manager and executives
Facilitate communication across teams and communicate updates to the leadership and project sponsors
Ensure project requirements are met, the scope is managed and milestones deliverables are met
Conduct various reviews and sign/off workshops
Qualifications
Professional experience/qualifications:
Bachelor`s degree in a technical field (computer science, engineering, or a related discipline/equivalent).
2-5 years of project management experience (new product development a plus)
Ability to work within cross functional & multiple location projects a must.
Experience with problem solving and counter measure techniques
Familiar and fluent in multiple technologies and platforms used by others to transform their business model and industry.
Effective executorCan get things done and can implement complex transformation programs in a global organization.
Effective communicatorDemonstrates strong executive presence and the ability to interact with the regal leadership team and outside partners – including the ability to be succinct and simplify/clarify digital-speak” in his/her communication style.
