Challenges you will solve as we bring to life a world where every company can achieve their mission without fear of cyber attack, our niche is in security operationsThis demands that we must ourselves be exceptionally great at the operations needed to serve our customersAs director of continuous improvement, you will develop and oversee the execution of an operational excellence and continuous improvement program at red canaryThis includes working with the department leaders and executives to define the goals, measures, and vision needed to develop a culture of operational excellenceYou will lead a team of continuous improve leaders who are embedded with other red canary teams to help analyze, guide and consult on refining processes and systems to help ensure effective operations.
What you'll do
Develop the strategy and deliver an operational excellence and continuous improvement program. Lead and manage a team of continuous improvement leaders. Train and coach department and executive leaders in continuous improvement tools and methodologies to develop a company culture of operational excellence. Align operational excellence initiatives with the company strategy and objectives. Lead and support operational excellence initiatives throughout the organization by understanding the processes, identifying opportunities, and developing improvements. Develop and participate in strong, cross functional teams across organization departments to identify opportunities to achieve company objectives. Train and coach other leaders on operational excellence tools and processes.
What you'll bring
10+ years of experience with process improvement, operational excellence, lean, or 6 sigma. 5+ years of experience managing and developing people and teams. Proven track record of building and running operations and continuous improvement programs. Experience with training and coaching senior and executive leadership in operational excellence methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Able to methodically identify problems and opportunities and then create solutions. Experience leading teams through identifying and resolving complex issues, and implementing solutions to resolve problems. Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations management, or related field, preferred Experience working within a technology company, preferred
Targeted base salary range: $155,000 - $190,000 + bonus eligibility and equity depending on experience.
