Description: rsi is welcoming several territory managers to our sales & marketing team as we launch a portfolio of new saas solutions with the purpose of streamlining government revenue related functions.
This is an exciting solution that will disrupt the market and make rsi a market leader.
We are looking for dynamic sales professionals to join our teamThe local government territory manager will drive sales for their territory for our local government business focusing on property tax, integrated tax, analytics and audit solutionsAs a territory manager, you will be responsible for evaluating, building and managing local government sales for your territory, including developing local government sales and marketing strategies, planning, collaborating with marketing for demand generation, delivering product demonstrations and managing rfi and rfp responses.
Internally, these positions are titled as territory manager.
Responsibilities include:
Quota attainment for our saas solutions with a focus on new customers
Focus on developing new city and county customers
Responsible for identifying and targeting new accounts to expand customer base by building champions with potential influencers, engaging with key stakeholders, and quarterbacking the sales process as well as developing and strengthening relationships with key customers
Attend conferences and events as required
Partner with marketing to develop effective demand generation strategies
Manage opportunities from leads to close
Analyze customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships
Partner with our demo and rfp teams to develop winning proposals and bids
Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation
Develop business plans to build pipeline and partner with regional sales teams
Solution- oriented and innovative thinking abilities
Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
Demonstrate excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Up to 30% travel is required
Requirements:
Bs or ba in computer science, tax accounting, economics, or another related field
5+ years sales experience and a track record of exceeding quota
Proven success in negotiating and closing deals from start to close
Demonstrate success in self-generating net new opportunities
Ability to lead and motivate others
Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
