Project overview:
Riva solutions is seeking a full stack developer to support a new contract with a federal government customer.
Responsibilities:
Full stack development, working on back-end, front-end, and api code as needed
Working with other database and application developers to define application architecture/best practices
Developing data processing and automation routines using python, javascript, and other languages
Interacting with the customers and come up with creative ways to resolve complex problems
Requirements:
Required qualifications:
At least 3 years’ demonstrated experience in
O java
O python
O react or similar javascript framework
O node.js
O arcgis
O esri
O open-source gis software (e.g., geoserver, mapserver, tileserver, openlayers, mapboxgljs, leaflet, cesium, folium)
O linux scripting
At least 3 years’ experience working in an agile development environment
Demonstrated flexibility and ability to understand and translate customer requirements to actionable tasks
While the position will be based remotely, there will be some travel to the customer site.
Candidates must be clearable to the secret level.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with commercial cloud providers, aws is a plus
Experience with angular, next.js, or vue.js is a plus
Knowledge of mongodb and oracle is a plus
Certifications/education:
Bs in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent work experienceA master’s degree is preferred.
