Environmental permitting / wetland specialist prosource is seeking an environmental permitting / wetland specialist candidate located in minneapolis, minnesota with the ability to generate results and a desire to be a collaborative and dynamic team memberThis position is remote with local filed work in the twin cities metro areaOur environmental permitting / wetland specialist will:
Assist with the preparation of federal, state and local permit applications for various projects such as pipelines, power lines, sewer lines and roads.
Perform wetland delineations for various projects using gps equipment.
Analyze data and provide technical report preparation and review.
Obtain all required environmental data and prepare nepa documents for agency review.
Manage environmental survey crews in preparation for permitting.
Coordinate environmental reviews with federal, state and local agencies.
Communicate with clients and provide progress updates.
Utilize extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and permit processes.
Manage project budgets and provide workload planning.
Prepare construction status reports and environmental compliance reports for various agencies.
Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills and project management experience.
Occasional day or overnight travel may be required.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, engineering, or equivalent.
At least five (5) years of related experience in environmental consulting and wetland delineations.
Experience working with regulatory agencies and regulations, project management, geographical information system (gis) software and global positioning system (gps) equipment.
Proficient understanding of principles in geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred experience:
Certified wetland delineator
Business development experience
Gis arcview or autocad experience
Phase i esa experience
Experience with environmental regulatory compliance in various states

Excellent written and verbal communication to all levels across the company and external clients.
Computer proficient (microsoft office, arc gis).
Valid driver’s license or transportation accommodation.
