Position summary:
Find, organize, abstract, and analyze scientific, reimbursement, commercial, public policy, and business information to support assignments for commercial clients; and engage in developing customer insights and applying problem-solving frameworks to client issues.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
Independently procure information through secondary research, including conducting systematic and comprehensive searches of public policies and scientific literature, and synthesize findings to support client engagements
Participate in and facilitate primary research interviews with key opinion leaders and stakeholders
Draft well-thought out interview guides and stimuli presentations to support primary research
Incorporate an understanding of the purpose and context of individual work product within overall client deliverable(s)
Prepare and finalize content for reports, presentations, and deliverables to precision standards that exhibits clear analytical structure and insight, grammar, language, format, and organization
Maintain and organize all information related to multiple, simultaneous client engagements, including maintenance of document databases and client correspondence
Qualifications:
Minimum required:
Bachelor`s degree in a life science discipline
Other required:
Understanding and working knowledge of technology, desk research, and data collection methodologies
Proficiency in microsoft office (word, powerpoint, excel) and adobe acrobat
Highly self-motivated with strong work ethic
High degree of professionalism
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary research on clinical, scientific, and business issues
Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to think outside of the box and solve difficult problems with effective solutions
Ability to collaborate and work in cross-office teams and with remote team members
Ability to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the english language
Preferred:
Knowledge or understanding of biopharmaceutical, diagnostic, or medical device industry
2 years of relevant work experience
