Patient support representative (remote)
Potomac psychiatry, located in rockville, md, is a rapidly growing, award-winning medical practiceWe have been operating fully remotely since march of 2020Our practice comprises a multidisciplinary team of 12 clinicians and a dedicated administrative support teamWe seek a highly motivated and exceptional individual with strong customer service skills, who is eager to learn and gain experience in an exciting and fast paced environmentThe candidate will be part of an elite team that enhances patient satisfaction, provides caring support to patients, understands and enjoys learning about diagnostic testing, and manages front desk administrative responsibilitiesThe applicant must enjoy providing support and working as a team while being able to multi-taskThis position is ideal for a person wanting to work for a rapidly growing business that will allow them to contribute to and participate in the ambitious growth plans for the practiceThis position will be fully remote, and candidates must live in marylandAll applicants must provide a cover letter.
Duties and responsibilities
Assist with insurance claim forms, faxes, prior authorizations, and other back office tasks
Support our clinical team around scheduling, medication refills, paperwork, and other needs
Provide caring support to patients on the phone and handling patient questions and concerns
Provide administrative support for root cause psychiatry, forensics, assessments, and other programs and take detailed notes during weekly program meetings
Additional duties as may be assigned

Qualifications
3-5 years working in a medical field or 3-5 years of strong customer service/concierge sales background
Experience in a fast-paced remote work environment preferred
Able to multitask using multiple systems
Takes initiative and embodies leadership qualities
Excellent attention to detail and note-taking abilities
Self-motivated and resourceful
Passionate about delivering the highest possible level of service
Warm and compassionate personality
Strong work ethic and absolute integrity
Willingness to learn, grow and be coached/mentored
Proficient in microsoft office suite
