Full job description
Piper enterprise solutions is searching for a devops engineer for a client in the financial services and technology industryThis is a 100% remote position.
Responsibilities for the devops engineer:
Responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of cloud-based production infrastructure from continuous deployment to monthly process management
Develop, design, and implement cloud modernization solutions
Qualifications for the devops engineer:
1+ years’ experience working in cloud operations or a similar role
2+ years’ experience with infrastructure as a service automation (cloudformation, terraform)
Experience with ci/cd tools such as teamcity or jenkins
Working knowledge of aws, with the ability to implement interactions (sdk, api, command line interface, etc.)
Automation experience using bash, python, powershell, scripting
Some knowledge and experience with sql, c#, vb is ideal
Strong communication and organizational skills
Compensation/benefits for the devops engineer:
100% remote
$70-$76/hr w2, contract-to-hire ($120,000-$133,000 conversion)
