The vp, payer programs will work closely with the chief strategy officer and business unit presidents to develop, launch, and manage clinical payer programs leveraging redsail’s large network of pharmaciesThis is an exciting opportunity to build a business line within a dynamic, growing organization.
Specific responsibilities include:
Collaborating with data scientists, clinical leaders, and business unit leaders to design clinical programs to improve patient outcomes for specific therapeutic categories or disease states
Working with the evp of business development to establish a network of payer partnersSpecifically, this work may include:
Identifying optimal payer partner opportunities
Preparing materials, including presentations, describing the benefits and return of our clinical payer programs
Meeting with payer partners to discuss our clinical payer programs
Reviewing payer contracts
Managing an overall funnel of potential payer partners
Collaborating with business unit leaders to implement programs, including:
Developing the processes to launch and managing ongoing programs
Developing the specific metrics and reports needed to manage program progress
Maintaining payer partner relationships as the main point of contacts for payers related to our clinical programs, including preparing progress reports and dashboards and meeting periodically with payers to report on existing program progress and develop new programs

Experience with government and commercial payers

Education and/or experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Computer skills required:
Has advanced basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data.
Must possess intermediate level skill in microsoft office.
