We require a dynamic and highly motivated regional sales leader to build and lead a region comprised of territory managers and clinical specialistsWithin philips image guided therapy – devices this is an entirely new sales team to commercialize philips’ groundbreaking new 3d ice catheterPhilips’ new verisight 3d ice catheter is redefining how structural heart and ep procedures can be doneThe first ice catheter to miniaturize the same 3d imaging technology that powers tee, verisight offers best-in-class 2d and 3d imagingThe commercialization of verisight pro represents part of a larger philips initiative to integrate multi-modality imaging and cardiac devices to enable even greater impact of existing and new structural heart and ep devices.
Philips is looking for a successful and highly driven regional sales leader that is able to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with the philips teamFrom a cultural standpoint, a positive, forward-thinking attitude will be required and this individual should possess real commercial drive with a demonstrable track record of delivery and success in past roles.
Given this is an expanding and entrepreneurial business, an instinctively hands-on coaching approach will be required; the successful candidate should demonstrate high levels of regional leadership skills and acumen, a can-do cultural performance mindset, with strong people coaching capability and enablement.
This successful regional candidate should have a proven ability to collaborate across internal functional areas and to work effectively with senior management and all internal and external stakeholdersThey should have extensive knowledge of the medical device industry and associated product portfolios, preferably within structural heart and/or electrophysiology therapies market.

Position description & opportunity:
Philips image guided therapy (igt) heart rhythm management, intracardiac devices sales division, regional sales manager: serve as the strategic regional leader on all objectives in building and sustaining a world-class winning regional sales teamYou will attract, retain, and develop a team of peak sales performers and clinical specialists who execute with strategic clarity and live our shared values.
You will lead sales performance, growth, and coach-to clinical selling excellence over multiple territories constituting the region, in support of overall company objectivesThis includes managing-to success criteria, lean-forward leadership for achievement of goals, sustained people coaching, forecasting, analyzing and reporting on sales, implementing policies, and maintaining budgetYou are responsible for managing to a clear strategic direction and goal attainment for sales targets and objectives for the regional team, consisting of territory managers and clinical specialists.
Reporting to the zone vice president, the regional sales manager leads all sales and education activity for the product portfolio within an assigned regionCoaches, leads at the front by example, exemplifies company shared values, while guiding the region and working cross-functionally with other internal philips departments to improve sales efforts, and collaborative philips one team engagement / representation to collectively serve the customer.
To succeed as a regional manager, responsibilities will include:
Effectively establish philips as an ice leader within an assigned region, while communicating philip’s value and vision to customers, with effective coaching and enablement through all direct reportsExecute the regional sales plan to meet the objectives of the company’s overall business plan and strategy, including budgeted revenue and average selling prices.
Achieve measurable quota performance + sustained attainment against objectives within assigned regionManage multiple workstreams, sustaining teammate coaching and engagement, while thriving within dynamic market conditions.
Exemplify being a champion & people-leader for a world-class sales culture: (a) coach, manage, support, direct, enable, and coordinate the activities of the region; (b) coach clinical sales excellence around all facets of the business model; (c) identify, coach, and drive new business development opportunity around all facets of the business model; (d) develop actionable regional sales, territory, and clinical support plans, by account, by teammate, through implementation of a business-planning format.
Experience coaching and leading-to hospital value analysis committee (vac), capital equipment sales cycle, hospital economics, reimbursement education, while driving a collaborative nature across multiple business segments.
Manage routine analysis of financial reports and sales analytics, monitor rolling performance relative to all measurable targetsForecast monthly revenues, with coaching inspection of teammate forecasts for achievable accuracy of the region.
Maintain regional sales oversight for new account development; and adjacent oneigt capital equipment sales cycles, activities, and lead sharing opportunities; corporate accounts synergies; contracting; and pricing strategies, to maximize the region’s achievement of unit and disposable revenue goals while aligning on philips account strategy.
Maximize teammate coaching for customer propensity around all products within the philips hrm ice portfolio, through sustained representation, product support, training, clinical education, and in-service activities within the territories.
Sustain training enablement with teammates around clinical proficiency to the degree that teammates and customers served are capable of standing cases in a competent manner, with ability to communicate appropriately clinical workflow around the philips hrm ice product portfolio.
Exemplify influential clinical communication and coaching skills that enhance the ability to generate customer interest in, and the use of, the philips hrm ice product portfolioDevelop quotations and coach presentations to achieve sales forecast for new account development opportunity, and further depth within existing customers.
Execute on regional incorporation of successful introduction(s) for new products, identify and coach continuous education, and associated engagement to all customer stakeholders within the region for philips hrm ice.
Establish, maintain, and enable with direct reports strong relationships with physicians, kols, key hospital stakeholders, and all fellowship education initiativesCoach ability to cross-collaborate with industry partners where appropriate.
Lead with time in the field with individual employees as well as balancing time management around strategic sales challenges and opportunitiesProvide timely, appropriate, documented, coaching feedback to enhance regional coaching processes and team culture.
Actively monitor competitive pressures, distribution, talent, market / industry movements and other business and/or customer challenges that impact regional performance.
Consistently work to improve personal knowledge and sales management skills, to add greater value to regional teammate development, with current and potential customers and to philips igt.
Adhere to all philips general business practices, and company policies including travel and expense policy, and to maintain and hold accountable administrative excellence in all facets for the regionCommunicate and implement company policies within assigned region when applicable.

Strong structural heart or ep sales/clinical background; cardiac imaging experience, especially tee and ice; established network of key cardiology opinion leaders and industry relationships influencers
Minimum 7 + years of sales or related management experience, in the medical device business preferably in structural heart and/or electrophysiology.
Proven leadership in coaching, personnel development abilities, and teammate development.
Experience in new business development, with sustained coaching to short and long-term strategies.
Experience in therapy awareness outreach, hcp education initiatives, fellowship education initiatives, existing & new program clinical engagement, physician training pathways and processes, and teammate coaching processes.
Ability to build strong relationships across a wide spectrum of internal and external stakeholdersAbility to give compelling presentations to a wide spectrum of audiences, both internally and externally.
Requirements for this position:
Medical device/equipment/hospital sales management experienceA minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or 4 years of relevant professional work/military experienceAn advanced degree preferred (ex: ms or mba).
Passion for clinical acumen, ability to develop deep domain knowledge across a spectrum of procedures to coach, manage sales processes, and enable teammates to arrive at customer solutions.
Passion for being an authentic people-leader, aligned to company shared values, committed to contributing and sustaining a world-class sales culture
Passion for customers, proven record of building/sustaining customer relationships, while coaching clinical selling excellence in partnership with region, and leading by example to enable direct reports to drive sustained optimal customer interactions.

Experience building regions with an entrepreneurial mindset, with ability to coach and manage in a fast-paced, changing environment.
