As the product manager for medical device integration, you will assure the continued success and growth of the connectivity and integration strategy to meet mission critical data sharing needs of leading healthcare organizations, while expanding the types of deployments and integration the solution can support, to include deployment into cloud environments managed by the customer and by philips capsule.
You will envision and maintain a strategic roadmap to meet industry direction, define market use cases, and work closely with the other members of the product management team, and key r&d team members, to make the roadmap come to lifeKey to this will include being an expert on how philips capsule can add value to, and expand, customer utilization of the philips capsule medical device information platform through data management and integration tools, and cloud deployment modelsYou will cultivate cooperative relationships with medical device manufacturers and healthcare it vendors to help grow joint adoptionYou will work with internal stakeholders to plan for new deployment models.
You will develop pricing strategies for market segments and channels and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure synergy across device integration, patient monitoring, and surveillance solution roadmapsYou will collaborate closely with marketing and sales to ensure successful launch, pipeline growth and revenue attainment.
You are responsible for
Business development
Cultivate relationships (formal or informal) with selected healthcare technology solution vendors, device manufacturers, and key customer/prospects to drive new use cases
Work with sales team and clients to foster success in medical device integration data management & cloud deployment as the basis for white papers or solution-related research to be done with clients
Product ownership
Responsible for upstream marketing activities for the product or solution lifecycle including definition of the strategy and its enablers as well as its alignment with key markets globally
Value proposition development based on customer insights for lead markets
Responsible for lifecycle management and market readiness as part of the product development and launch process, completing appropriate deliverables
Customer and market insights: analyze the market, competition, and trends on enterprise level across segment technologies to ensure the portfolio is leading the market’s expectations
Align perspectives across stakeholders - marketing team members, clinical experts, account managers, engineers, logistics specialists, finance analysts and professional services consultants
Create business cases for the development of a new product or product features in an established product area (i.e., time to market, cost, market share, competitive position)
Work with technical and business teams to define, prioritize, and deliver the product roadmap, including business readiness for cloud deployments
Derive appropriate pricing strategies
Participate in strategic planning within own area affecting immediate operations
Maintain expertise concerning competitors, market trends, and technological advances
Marketing and sales
Work closely with the marketing, sales and support organizations as a subject matter expert to communicate strategic positioning & roadmap strategy for new features & products
Skills
Work independently with little supervision
Prepare and deliver complex product and solution presentations in an understandable way for hospital customer stakeholders in technical, clinical and administrative roles
Exercise substantial creativity to innovate new processes, procedures, or work products to achieve established objectives
You are part of
Our philips capsule product management platform & integration team and directly report to the product management leader, cds.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
Experience managing global products or solutions used often or exclusively in healthcare facilities
Experience working directly with customers in a clinical healthcare environment
Experience managing integrated hardware and software products
Experience with integration standards of the industry (hl7, ihe, fhir, etc.)
Experience with products incorporating wired and wireless networking technologies
Experience with issues associated with product cybersecurity and data privacy
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit with focus on revenue-generation and innovation
Experience in value proposition creation.
5+ years of experience in a product management or business development role (or related experience in marketing, professional services, or sales)
Able to travel 10 -20% of the time, including internationally
Able to transport and install equipment up to 25 lbs
Perform required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting)
Use computers and related equipment for more than 6 hours a day
Experience with medical device integration or medical device products
Experience working with multiple software application deployment models including cloud
Experience working with fda and/or other regulated products
Familiarity with healthcare technology solutions (epic, cerner or others)
Fluency with microsoft office
Bachelor`s degree in marketing, business management, information systems, computer science, biomedical engineering, or related fields or equivalent experience preferred.
