In this role, you have the opportunity to
Build out a national intracardiac sales and clinical teamWithin philips image guided therapy – devices this is an entirely new sales team to commercialize philips’ groundbreaking new 3d ice catheterGiven this is an expanding and entrepreneurial business, an instinctively hands-on approach will be required; the successful candidate should demonstrate high levels of autonomy and personal accountability as well as a solutions-orientation complemented by outstanding commercial acumen, communication, and leadership skills.
You are responsible for
Building, cultivating and managing sales and commercial partnerships
Creating and implementing a national sales and distribution strategy and the sales plan, including sales forecasts and aop.
Leading a national sales team with marketing and national kam’s.
Leading a sales force that includes all supporting functions; f&a and hr
Working cross-functionally and collaboratively with the philips team
You are a part of
Philips’ new verisight 3d ice catheter is redefining how structural heart and ep procedures can be doneThe first ice catheter to miniaturize the same 3d imaging technology that powers tee, verisight offers best-in-class 2d and 3d imaging.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or 4 years of relevant professional work/military experience.
Advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum 15+ years of device sales or related experience, in the medical device business preferably in structural heart and/or electrophysiology.
5+ years of strong leadership and management leading a large sales organization (>50ppl)
Experience building strong culture of employee engagement and ownership.
Real commercial drive with a demonstrable track record of delivery and success in past roles.
Ability to build strong relationships across a wide spectrum of internal and external parties including executive leadership, commercial partners and key opinion leaders.
Demonstrated ability to rapidly assess a situation, take definitive action, learn/iterate, and then codify best practices into established processes that define ways of working and allow the organization to scale
Strong structural heart or ep sales/clinical background
Experience in both early-stage and mature commercial leadership
Cardiac imaging experience, especially tee and ice
Established network of key cardiology opinion leaders and industry relationships influencers
Experience in market development activities including the buildout of a robust clinical training curriculum
A self-starter and an entrepreneurial spirit is required.
Experience building sales organizations, including sales operations and commercial strategy
Ability and interest to travel and be in front of customers at every opportunity
