Peraton is seeking highly motivated and qualified individuals to support a tier 1 service desk for the centers for medicare and medicaid marketplaceQualified candidates apply basic helpdesk support skills using their subject matter expertise, provided scripts, faqs and other knowledge artifacts in a tier 1 service desk environment
Duties and responsibilities
Tier i representatives will provide technical support for system users to ensure that it services are delivered timely, effectively, and efficientlyThe tier 1 shall address all inquiries including, but not limited to, first line of troubleshooting for systems, escalation of issues to external parties, account administration and password resets, environment availability notifications, requests for data to support development and testing efforts, having a direct impact on the service desk; and defect and change request management.
Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
High school diploma or equivalent, minimally.
Must have two years minimum work experience in a help desk or call center environment.
Microsoft office product knowledge.
Possess the ability to successfully manage and prioritize concurrent tasks
Showcase the ability to communicate well (orally and in written format) when working with customers and the client.
Positive attitude and work ethic is critical
Much be self-motivated and have the capacity to work well alone or within a team setting.
May hold entry level certifications in field of work
Prior experience working with centers for medicaid and medicare services (cms).
