Peraton labs is seeking a full stack developer.
We are looking for an ambitious, talented, and self-motivated individual, who will help us build semantic solutions by elucidating, organizing, and describing information from the rich domain of life scienceYour work will take you across many important areas of our business from products to experimental results, biological entities to laboratory techniques, and everything in between.
Working closely with our semantic architect, this role will be focused on building out the knowledge graph to incorporate concepts that are central to our business and goalsFurther, this role will use this knowledge to improve our products by working closely with software engineers, ui/ux designers, and product management to help them understand how they can benefit from the use of these information structuresFinally, as a detail-focused individual, you will manage the governance process for how we manage and grow this valuable information.
Understand business needs and develop solutions that delight consumer and costumers
Developing functional web and mobile applications that scale in a global environment
Optimizing applications for scalability and speed
Collaborating with other team members, designers, and business owners.
Staying up-to-date on the newest technologies
Identify and explore new opportunities to use new technologies to improve the platform
Requires 5 to 8 years with bs/ba or 3 to 5 years with ms/ma or 0 to 2 years with phd.
Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics, engineering or similar degree
Experience as a full stack developer (junior or senior roles)
Strong proficiency in javascript (es6) or typescript, html and css
Javascript frameworks like angular and react
Good understanding of functional programming
Familiarities with modern javascript tools, like npm, yarn and webpack
Familiarity with browser rendering behavior and performance
Familiarity with js automated testing tools and frameworks
Experience developing front end web applications
Experience with backend/api development
Experience with capabilities of major cloud service providers (google, aws, azure).
Web frameworks like vue/nuxt, react/next or angular
Js and server frameworks such as express or sails
Graphql/apollo & rest api development
Sql/nosql database modeling and administration
Preferred qualifications

Cyber security best practices
Containerized development (docker, kubernetes)
