Full job description
The primary goal of the business development consultant is to further prospects along through the sales funnel resulting in a saleIt is the sales consultant’s job to complete the process of that sale from start to finishThe sales consultant’s job will consist of tracking down new sales prospects and maintaining relationships with potential future buyersA sales consultant is responsible for being very familiar with the products or services he or she is selling.
Salesforce partner relationships to open doors to prospects and help close salesAttend special training of services to understand the technical aspects of solutionsHandle the entire sales process from proposal to closeSolicit and maintain contact with prospect key accountsTrack activity, prepare and maintain records for sales leads and account status.
The sales consultant will be able to perform demos for some and eventually all apps and basic development service opportunities.
Marketing integration
To deliver our sales messages over the phone and via email and refine them
Over timeWork with marketing to hone the marketing message.
Provide campaign ideas and suggestions for improvements and additions to
Marketing content.
Pass along any intelligence passively found for where the contact heard about
Us.
Sales
To exceed the pre-defined sales quota.
To clearly articulate business value to the customer.
To drive prospects to sales ready status and close the deal.
Outbound calling to a designated list of contacts within internal salesforce org
And to individuals that are posting on specific forums in order to promote
Passage technology products and further prospects along the sales pipeline.
Join and follow social media channels to participate in conversations that may
Generate opportunities for our business.
Schedule and conduct demos/discussions with prospects and involve other
Members of the sales, operations or development services teams as needed.
Identify sales automation opportunities.
Attend training sessions and meetings conducted by sales coach.
Maintain opportunity and account profile information in our salesforce database.
Product education
Coordinate with sales coach in all cases where knowledge or experience are
Lacking so as to keep productivity levels up.
Training
Salesforce trailhead.
Passage technology products.
Passage technology verbal and written communications.
Skills:
1Understanding of customer relationship management (crm) functionality.
