Position summary pma is seeking a project controls specialists (scheduling/cost management) to provide project controls support services for several current pharmaceutical clientsThis position will be primarily a remote role, with some travel required based on the client’s needsPosition qualifications scheduling:
Assist project managers in maintaining project schedules, total project cost estimates, and status reports.
Assist project managers in developing and reviewing baseline schedules, monthly schedules, as-built schedules, and time impact analysis using primavera p6 scheduling or ms project software.
Establish and manage project documentation system following evolving client procedures.
Monitor project schedule progress, actual expenditures vsBudget, and identify developing problem areas.
Monitor all potential cost impacts due to rfi’s and change directives.
Maintain a “cost exposure log.”
Ability to properly review contractor and consultants invoices.
Assist with preparation of cost reports as directed by project managers and perform related tracking.
Assist and monitor effective cost control and budget management practices.
Support development of weekly/monthly cost and status reports for the project team.
3-5 years of project controls (cost or schedule) experience supporting large capital improvement programs, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
Proficient in using primavera p6 and ms project.
Understanding how project controls issues relate to other functions such as project accounting and procurement.
Detail-oriented with effective organization and coordination skills.
Ability to be flexible/adaptable in evolving procedures and work under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
Proficient in using microsoft office software sharepoint, teams, onedrive, and ms office’s other suite of products (word, excel, outlook, onenote, powerpoint).
