Experiential producer obp is seeking a dynamic experiential producer to join our teamThis position will play a key role within the experiential team by assisting with a wide range of elements needed to plan and execute assigned eventsThis position will support account managers, project leads and other team members at events within obp’s portfolioThe experiential producer will be expected to be self-directed and able to manage all production elements of programs and contractors independentlyYour attention is focused on efficient and effective production, fulfilling the client’s goals and making sure obp is represented in a positive light at all times.
Responsibilities include:
Managing production schedules, timelines and overall event documentation.
Sourcing production needs ranging from heavy equipment to sound and lights.
Coordinating and communicating with contracted vendors from planning through billing.
Assisting with venue selection and building event layouts
Developing, managing, tracking and reconciling event budgets.
Communicating with venues, sponsors, clients and other key stakeholders.
Collaborating with other team members to bring together all event elements.
Brainstorming and developing fan activations and new elements within existing events.
Experience requirements:
3 - 5 years of event management experience.
Experience working directly with venues and managing vendors and sponsors.
Ability to be super-detail oriented and still keep sight of the “bigger picture” issues and the end goals of the event in mind at all times
Proven experience with project management, planning and execution.
Previous experiencing working with budgets.
Understanding of production / operations scheduling.
Understanding of the multi-faced nature of large-scale events.
Exceptional attention to details and organizational skills.
Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively.
Strong work ethic with an ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt to a variety of event environments.
Proficiency in the following microsoft office products: word, excel & powerpoint.
Bachelor`s degree from accredited college or university
Clear communicator who gives strong and consistent guidance to a client and direction to a team.
Commitment/deadline driven and proven ability to manage multiple opportunities at a high level effectively.
Exceptional relationship builder with the ability to build trust and operate at a mature level with clients, vendors, staff and team members; strong ability to negotiate and resolve issues smoothly and effectively.
