We are seeking a highly motivated software development engineer who will:
Design, develop, and maintain the oracle secure backup product
Enhance and expand the capabilities of oracle secure backup to meet the needs of our customers.
Work with oracle cloud technologies to further the integration of oracle secure backup with the oracle family of technologies and products.
Help create oracle secure backup‘s next generation backup technology.

Bs or ms degree or equivalent experience relevant to distributed software developmentEight or more years of software engineering or related experienceShould have in-depth knowledge of c programming in a linux and windows environmentShould be highly proficient in coding complex functional modules which makes use of file i/o, network sockets, semaphores, complex data structures and cloud access apis.Have experience with software design, development, system integration and unit testingAnalytical ability to debug and solve problems efficiently and have an aptitude to explore, learn and adopt to new technologies, programming languages and toolsExperience developing in a client server environment and be knowledgeable about inter-process communication mechanismExperience in cloud/networking and security developmentExperience developing for tape drives and tape libraries is a plusThe ideal candidate will have a background in backup or storage management software development with a working knowledge of cloud technologies.
