About the opportunity
Northspyre is looking for a Sales Engineer to join our fast-growing, venture-backed start-up team. This is an opportunity to make a huge impact at a start-up disrupting the $10.5 trillion dollar real estate industry.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Build subject matter expertise and gain in depth understanding of market, customer archetypes, customer workflows, and customer technology stacks.
- Be a trusted advisor to both prospects and customers to ensure they get the correct business value from our technology.
- Lead in-depth technical demonstrations that thoughtfully highlight Northspyre’s value proposition, uncover existing prospect business processes and limitations, and illustrate Northspyre’s solution in a bespoke and empathetic manner.
- Train and ensure proper communication and distribution of new product releases and updates to Account Executives.
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Product to build thoughtful sales enablement deliverables and training materials including technical demo scripts, objection handle talk tracks, solutions frameworks, and product marketing materials.
- Gather, document, and stack rank product feature requests to communicate and validate product roadmap objectives - Solution business and technical requirements and explain them in simple terms.
- Work with Customer Success to ensure smooth post sales hand-offs for implementation and onboarding.
We are looking for people who have:
- 5+ Years in accounting, finance, or construction finance space
- Deep expertise of common ERP accounting systems in the real estate and construction space (Yardi, MRI, RealPage, Sage).
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and core financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of construction finance including project pro-forma's, capitalization, and financial partner reporting.
- Outstanding communication and strong customer facing skills.
- Technically proficient with a demonstrated history of implementing, leveraging and optimizing business software solutions.
- Strong writing and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and stay organized.
- Positive team player who can effectively collaborate across multiple departments.
Bonus points if you have:
- 2+ years leading real estate development and asset management projects from a finance, accounting, construction, or development perspective.
- CPA
A reasonable estimate of the total compensation range for this role’s listed level is currently $120k - $170k but may vary based on local market data by region. Role levels and salary ranges take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, interview performance, skills, experience, knowledge, training and education, certifications and licenses, market data and other business needs.
This role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
