Central office is in bismarck, with working remotely in any north dakota location considered.
This full-time temporary status position will include fully paid family health insurance in accordance with the aca.
This position will assist in the development and administration of various state and federal programs administered by commerce.
Duties and tasks
1Fiscal review, monitoring, and reporting
Be the lead on all monitoring and/or audits for commerceTrack all monitoring and/or audits to ensure all findings/concerns are addressed and clearedKeep historical listing and documentation for future reviews.
Assist in budget development and monthly monitoring of commerce programs.
Assist with grant reporting through various grant reporting systems.
Assist with financial monitoring of grantees and projects.
Assist staff with program tasks as necessary.
Assist grants and contracts officer with close out process for programs (send 30-day notices, review incoming final reports, update crm and send close out letters).
2Administrative duties for commerce programs
Provide technical assistance to grantees with grant administration, grants management, and federal compliance standards.
Assist with the development of program policies and procedures based on interpretation of federal regulations.
Assist with maintaining and updating program manuals, ensure web page content is up to date.
Assist with request for funds:
First point of contact for incoming request for funds
Enter request for funds into cash draw log
Review requests for accurate ach information
Review requests in crm and send to appropriate staff for approval
Ach form and vendor registry maintenance
Enter payments in crm for paid request for funds
Communicate with grantees regarding request for funds as needed
Plan, organize, and conduct grant administration workshops and training sessions.
Maintain databases for grant reporting purposes.
Forms developer: create and revise commerce forms as requiredThis position would need to be proficient in adobe so they could create fillable forms.
Assist staff with public notices.
3Other duties as assigned.
Minimum of a two-year associate degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
Two years to five years of similar or related experience required.
Additional education may substitute for the experience requirement on a year for year basis.
