Wholesale foodservice sales representative
Nifty napkin inc is the wholly owned subsidiary and north america’s sales and distribution office of chongqing cygnet baifu foods, a company in china that engages in the research and production of sichuan spicy condiments and hot pot related foodstuffsNifty napkin aims to increase the brand’s footprint by selling baifu’s products to online and offline asian supermarket chains across north americaThe role of sales representative is to lead and grow nifty napkin’s business and market reach in the asian supermarket channelsThis person will be responsible for growing our current portfolio, manage warehouse distribution, engage offline store product promotion, among other cross functional duties to deliver results to nifty napkin inc and its customersThis position can work remotely.
Essential functions
Seek out new opportunities constantly with both stand-alone and chain accounts within established region
Maintain relationships with key contact person in each account and assist him with sales and distribution logistics
Track and analyze each account’s sale metrics, work with clients to develop product promotions
Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales contracts.
Follow up with account payables and receivables to ensure each order is fulfilled and paid
Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
Participate in trade shows, selling conferences where applicable
Qualifications
Educational equivalent of bachelor’s degree
At least two years of experience in retail sales, food distribution or food import/export industry
Must be fluent in english and mandarin chinese
Strong communication – verbal and written.
Good problem solving skills.
