Nexgen is currently seeking a “sr.net developer” to be responsible for development/maintenance of both current and future web-based applications implemented using asp .net and web servicesThe technology stack used includes azure cloud-based technologies and azure sqlThe ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience in developing cloud-native web applications deployed on the azure cloud environments and using azure services.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the followingOther duties may be assigned:
Lead design and development of modern azure-based web-applications
Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to asp.net, html, javascript, css, c#, ssrs, azure sql, azure blob storage, azure cognitive search, devops and web services.
Install and configure tools across the entire azure-based development stack, including the use of azure devops
Accurately and effectively communicate with the project manager and other stakeholders to recommend solutions, provide status of on-going work, and in identification and mitigation of potential risks.
Possess excellent time management skills in handling multiple priorities with individual deadlines.
Adapt to a rapidly changing environment and work creatively with minimal supervision.
Technical skills/experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in design, development, and support of asp .net mvc and microservices based web applications in the cloud.
Experience using .net core, entity framework
Demonstrable experience with azure sql, blob storage, cognitive search, devops
Demonstrable experience with html, javascript, css knowledge and experience.
Experience with deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting c# .net and asp.net application in the azure cloud environments
Experience with reactjs
Experience processing xml and image files
Advanced sql knowledge including experience writing and deciphering complex sql queries.
Demonstrably strong verbal and written communication
Additional desired skills/requirements:
Experience mentoring and guiding junior to mid-level developers.
Experience working in an agile teams (scrum, kanban, safe).
Experience documenting complex technical solutions
Experience with ms 365 tool suite for organization and documentation.
The successful candidate must be able to pass a background screening prior to employment.

Education/experience: bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related scientific or technical degree; or equivalent experience.
