The new jersey judiciary information technology division in the camden vicinage has an opportunity for an it professional seeking a career in a fast paced, cutting edge environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing and responding to helpdesk tickets, implementing security policies and procedures, installing hardware and software, and using administrative tools to manage user accountsThe candidate will also provide support for microsoft office 365 and will assist with upgrades and installations that might require off-hours/weekend workThis position will also provide technical support for ongoing virtual courtrooms that utilize video conferencing platforms such as: zoom, microsoft teams, avaya scopia, polycom real presence, and cisco conferencing solutions for audio callsIn addition, the selected candidate may be required to provide support for weekend criminal justice reform virtual proceedings on a rotating basis.
The candidate’s additional responsibilities include: the installation and maintenance of voip phones; installation and support for mobile devices; and consulting with external vendors and service providers for it related products and services as needed.

Example of duties
Information technology analyst 1
Assist management in the development of information security systems.
Monitor information security systems for vulnerabilities, potential security incidents, and system error conditions and follow up or remediate issues.
Notify management of all vulnerabilities, incidents, problems immediately and with confidentiality.
Perform information security reviews and risk assessments, as directed by management.
Research vulnerabilities and develop strategies for safeguarding information.
Implement information security procedures related to new applications and initiatives.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative research related to security processes, programs and projects.
Prepare technical proposals based on changes in infrastructure, newly identified vulnerabilities, improvements in monitoring tools and changing best practices.
Install, configure and maintain security hardware and/or software.
Develop and update information security tasks related to disaster recovery support.
Work with management on new projects, as assigned.
Serve as a system administrator for mainframe and other heterogenous systems.
Assist with incident response.
Provide support to other divisions.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor`s degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying, such as information systems, human-computer interaction, interactive media, software engineering, computer networking, and/or cybersecurity.
Substitution: applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional it technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant is applying on a year for year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits.
A bachelor`s degree in any field from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of additional paraprofessional and/or professional it technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant is applying may be substituted for the required education.
An associate`s degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying, such as information systems, human-computer interaction, interactive media, software engineering, computer networking, and/or cybersecurity and two (2) years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional it technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant is applying may be substituted for a the required education.
An associate`s degree in any field from an accredited college or university and three years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional it technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant is applying may be substituted for the required education.
A master`s degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying, such as information systems, human-computer interaction, interactive media, software engineering, computer networking, and/or cybersecurity may be substituted for the required education.
