Job summary & responsibilities
You want to be at the center of a medical technology that gives patients suffering from debilitating pain their lives backYou can make a difference in thousands of lives by bringing your sre expertise to our development & security operations team in r&d, providing expert support for nevro’s products, dedicated to building and maintaining our aws infrastructure and developer toolingYou will share ownership with the web services team to create shared responsibility where you own the availability of the service (slos/kpis) and establish monitoring and alerting practicesYou will also ensure and enforce best application and security practices.
Ensure and enforce best application and security practices
Monitor and support teams in meeting service level objectives
Support, monitor, and manage cloud infrastructure via iac (terraform)
Identify, document, and help improve performance and operational efficiency challenges
Configure and manage monitoring using tools like datadog, grafana etc.
Participate in on-call rotation to resolve site incidents and document your findings into repeatable procedures.
Keep up to date on new technology, standards, protocols, and tools in areas relevant to the rapidly changing digital environment.
Works in accordance with quality system procedures and actively enforces its objectives
Work cross functionally with other departments such as marketing, regulatory and quality
Role requirements
· minimum 3 years of experience in product development
· empathy for the end user and a desire to measure your work by both the patient value and technical quality
· a bias for action tempered with thinking about the implications of the work you`re doing
· enthusiasm for the field and professional development/improvement outside the day to day job
Skills and knowledge
Our ideal candidates will need to have 3-5 years’ experience in some or many of the following:
Git
Ci/cd tools (jenkins)
Infra-as-code (terraform + aws)
Scripting technologies: powershell, python, bash
Experience with production systems monitoring using tools such as datadog, grafana etc.
Experience with networking, load balancing, dns, and security
Familiarity with secops and compliance processes
Apply technical principles, theories and concepts towards the solution of complex technical problems and provide solutions which are innovative and ingenious.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication along with good presentation and technical writing skills.
Functional familiarity with the fda submission process, iso requirements and qsr requirements is also preferred.
Must be significantly self-directed and autonomous and capable of directing technical development by others
