The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Solid communication, people interaction, and self-leadership skills
Thought leadership with a strong ability to influence and lead continuous improvement
Experience developing software via agile software development methodologies
Proven ability to document and share knowledge effectively (knowledge management)
Proven ability to develop and drive results with standard software engineering processes such as tdd/atdd, paired programming, etc.
Technology depth and experience with systems integration / batch processing / apis / edi (or similar)
Technical skills:
Strong skills in programming languages and tools such as java/javascript, python, angular, and .net
Experience with or ability to support and uplift capabilities with analytics tools such as python, r, matlab, jupyter notebook, power bi, and tableau
Experience with or ability to support and uplift capabilities with technical tools such as kinesis, kafka, rancher, docker, kubernetes, lambda, and message queues
Strong relational database / sql experience
Strong unix/linux o/s skills and perl/python (or similar) scripting ability
Cloud (aws, snowflake) products / development / devops
Etl development and implementation experience
Data storage, build, and maintenance experience

As a software engineer, you will focus on mentoring and leading others to deliver high quality, cost-effective technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applicationsJob description key responsibilities:
Mentors and trains other team members on design techniques, tools and coding standards.
Provides strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals.
