Producer, professional learning design - 12 month remote, contract opportunity
Position summary
The nwea professional learning design asset team is responsible for building creative media solutions to support professional learning offeringsThe asset team collaborates with content designers to ensure assets meet the needs of our partners; adhere to the nwea brand, legal, and style guidelines; and are visually appealing, engaging, and inclusiveThis team serves our internal partners by publishing high-quality interactive and multimedia assets for print and digital deliveryThe major responsibility of this position is to provide support for video production, video editing, graphics and motion graphics to further nwea’s mission.
Responsibilities
Produce concurrent multimedia projects in support of nwea’s professional learning with a focus on video production, video editing, graphics, and motion graphics
Collaborate within the asset team and across the organization to make multimedia that respond to stakeholder input and feedback
Produce edits of videos based on scripts that meet intended goals
Work within established brand guidelines to produce illustrations, motion graphics, and video overlays that achieve the overall creative strategy for each assigned project
As required, assist with coordination and production of video shoots for multiple projects
Assist internal education and training of team members in best practices for video design
Adhere to media development, management, and delivery standards to ensure modern and scalable media within nwea products
Maintain timely and accurate delivery of all projects
Know when to incorporate manager support to ensure timely and appropriate action on issues that need visibility and collaborative problem-solving
Keep up to date with media production standards, software, and procedures
Collaborate with team members in developing, maintaining, and improving procedures and workflows
Skills and abilities
Proficiency in all aspects of multimedia production and delivery standards
Proficiency with adobe cc suite to create video, motion graphic, illustration, photo, and print content
Proficiency with premiere pro, after effects, illustrator, adobe media encoder
Familiarity with audition, indesign, photoshop
Comfortable with a microsoft outlook work environment
Proficiency with visual communication, typography, design and creating illustrations
Must have excellent communication skills with ability to take initiative and find answers
Ability to communicate technical concepts, clearly and precisely, to non-technical partners and stakeholders
Ability to multi-task simultaneous projects and initiatives
Must have a working knowledge of in-person and remote video production techniques
Experience with collaborative editing workflows within premiere pro team projects is a plus

Education and experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Demonstrated experience and understanding of video editing, graphics, and motion graphics
3-5 years’ experience working in a video production/creative environment
