Territory manager/regional sales engineer
This is for the western michigan territory.
Summary of job duties:
Ammc division of motion industries, incIs seeking an experienced sales engineer to promote, sell, and support products in the sw michigan and nw indiana trade regionPrimary responsibility is to develop and grow oem (and select user) salesThis position is home office based and requires about 80%-day travel within the territory (account visits)As a territory manager/regional sales engineer with the ammc division, you will leverage your technical knowledge and ability to identify and present winning solutions for industrial automation challengesTerritory managers/regional sales engineers are expected to help build relationships that result in new business opportunities while maintaining our existing customer’s needs and satisfactionAmmc division management will support you by providing you the environment and tools you need for success while maintaining a competitive, quality, high value portfolio of automation products to offer your customers.
Bsee or bsme
5+ years with technical field sales/application development and support experience
3+ years of experience with application solution sales to oem’s and end users
Working and application knowledge of: servo/motion, plc, hmi, vfd, robotics, mechatronics
Working knowledge of programing methods: ladder diagram, function block, structured text
Mechatronic system troubleshooting skills (software/electrical/mechanical)
Proficient in microsoft office products
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to develop, support, and sell to direct accounts
