Overview
As a direct-to-consumer merchandising manager at monolith brands group, you will be responsible for building and merchandising digital content for each brand within the mbg portfolio; until that portfolio grows to a volume where an additional merchandising manager is required - after which, you will be assigned a segment of the portfolio.
Key responsibilities
Manage the strategic positioning of content and products throughout the website to promote higher conversion rates and highlight event themes (like promotions); in collaboration with and adherence to all revenue channel initiatives.
Manage promotional activity, ensuring each team member has the assets they need to communicate said promotion on their respective channels while keeping the ux/ui cohesive throughout the ecosystem.
Manage new product uploads, category builds, and product detail maintenance to adhere to strategies directed by the vp of dtc and the vp of creative.
Liaise with various teams for regular and ad-hoc cms tasks and initiatives.
Collaborate with the dtc and creative team for onsite optimizations such as product recommendations, upselling/cross-selling opportunities, and navigational improvements.
Reporting on shopify performance, including kpis, providing data-driven insight, and conducting deep dives to inform strategic optimization for increased conversion.
Experience & skills
Proven working experience in merchandising in a similar role.
Hands-on experience of an e-commerce platform – shopify, shopify plus.
Knowledgeable of analytical tools for performance measurement, determine improvement, and innovations.
An understanding of website ux, content and development projects, and intuitive knowledge of how users interact and shop in a digital environment.
Excellent ability to analyze data and propose commercial objectives.
A passion and drive to meet deadlines and sales targets.
Team player -ready to collaborate with multiple departments to achieve business objectives.
